Attention all runners!
TeamPolice is thrilled to announce the PSUK National 10 Mile Road Race Championship on Wednesday, September 11th, 2024, at the breathtaking Cwmcarn Forest Drive in Caerphilly! 








Gwent Police Running Section looks forward to welcoming you to this spectacular event ‘where legends are made’! The undulating course offers a mix of challenging hill climbs and serene woodlands, ensuring an unforgettable running experience.
Key Details:
- Parking: Available near the race start, with a small fee (£1 for 1 hour or £3 for the day). Follow brown tourist information signs to the car park.
- Course: The route starts on a closed public road before entering Cwmcarn Forest Drive, offering glorious views from South Wales to the Severn Estuary. Speed bumps and a water stop will be clearly signposted.
- Mini Police Race: Younger members of our police family will have their own race before the main event.
- Timing & Measurement: The race will be chip-timed and officially measured by AUKCM and AIMS/World Athletics.
Facilities:
- Toilets: Available at the Cwmcarn Forest visitor centre and throughout the route.
- First Aid: Provided by Medi Bikes, with experienced paramedics ensuring safety.
- Photography: Photographers will be present along the route. Photos will be available after the event.
- Awards & Presentations: Individual and team awards in various categories.
Evening presentation at Brynmeadows Golf Hotel and Spa with a three-course meal and entertainment. Cost: £40 per person. Dress smart with a touch of pink in support of St David’s Hospice Care.
