Official Entry Form Released for the 51st PSUK National Squash & Squash 57 (Racketball) Championships 2025
The West Yorkshire Region of PSUK Squash and Squash 57 is delighted to announce the release of the official entry form for the 51st PSUK National Championships, set to take place from 4–6 April 2025 at Queens Sports Club in Halifax (HX1 2XQ).
Congratulations to Qualified Competitors
On behalf of the organising committee, congratulations are in order for all the successful competitors who have qualified from your region. Regional representatives are now invited to share the attached entry (Form attached here), itinerary, and accommodation details with the qualifiers as soon as possible.
Event Details & Registration
- Dates: 4–6 April 2025
- Venue: Queens Sports Club, Moorlands View, Halifax
- Entry Deadline: Friday, 28 February 2025
Accommodation Arrangements
Participants will be accommodated at the Cedar Court Huddersfield Hotel, located at Ainley Top, Lindley Moor Road, Elland, Huddersfield (HD3 3RH).
- Check-in: Friday from 2:00 pm
- Check-out: Monday, 7 April 2025, by 10:00 am
Competition Venue & Schedule
- Venue: Queens Sports Club
- Schedule Overview:
- Friday, 4 April: Registration and AGM in the hotel foyer; tournament play begins at 1600 with a MONRAD system ensuring all competitors enjoy multiple matches.
- Saturday, 5 April: Quarter-finals and semi-finals from 1000.
- Sunday, 6 April: Final play-off matches from 1000, with finals kicking off at 1300.
Additional Information
- Health & Safety: Appropriate, defect-free equipment and attire are mandatory. Protective eyewear is recommended.
- Entertainment: Enjoy a meal for all players and guests on Friday night at the Club, followed by a presentation dinner and DJ-led disco on Sunday evening at The Cedar Court Hotel.
- Raffle & Charity: A raffle will take place after the prize presentation, with proceeds supporting a local charity. All competitors and guests are encouraged to bring raffle prizes.
Registration Form & Entry Categories
The entry form details the £60 tournament fee and lists the available categories, including The Open, Ladies’ Open, and various age-specific events. It also covers accommodation options and additional event merchandise. Participants must complete and return the form to their Regional Representative along with the correct payment.
