The 4th Annual TeamPolice vs Sponsors Golf Day, held on Wednesday 30 July 2025, was another resounding success, blending competition, camaraderie and shared commitment to improving police wellbeing through sport.

Hosted at the stunning Forest Pines Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort in North Lincolnshire, the day brought together officers, staff and commercial partners for an 18-hole stableford competition that continues to grow in popularity and impact.

With rolling fairways winding through ancient pine trees, water hazards, and undulating greens, the Forest Pines course presented the toughest challenge yet for the 48 competitors representing both TeamPolice and our commercial sponsors.

⛳ A Nail-Biting Finish

After 12 tightly contested matches, scored by individual stableford points, it all came down to the final group. As the final players returned to the clubhouse, the sponsors were narrowly ahead at 5.5 to 4.5. But TeamPolice levelled the score in Match 11 and then edged a dramatic victory in Match 12 by just two points (55–53), sealing the overall score at 6.5–5.5.

This result puts TeamPolice 3–1 ahead in the series, a reflection of both improved sporting performance and the strength of connection within the policing community.
